Leopard Is A Neutral

Now, I know what you’re thinking (How is leopard a neutral?!)but before you scroll away, hear me out. Because leopard consists of neutral colors (such as tan, brown, and black), the print is actually super-versatile—it can be matched with any color and look fantastic. It even looks great with other prints, such as stripes, because both the bold patterns and neutral colors are compatible with each other.

It's a fashion misconception that everything we wear has to match perfectly. Some of the outfits are ones that have an element of juxtaposition and slight disharmony because it challenges the viewer's eye to discover what is making the outfit work.

If going all out with a completely mismatched print outfit seems too extreme, introduce an underlying color scheme that ties it all together. For example, a blue stripe that matches a blue skirt or beret. A green scarf that matches a green stripe. It's these minor matching colors that can give you courage to embrace mismatching prints.
